• Sonia’s hobbies include playing video games, looking for new music, baking, and testing the limits of her iCloud storage with too many photos and videos.

• Sonia can sleep over 12 hours when she doesn’t have school or work.

• Sonia has a huge K-Pop playlist that’s close to 2800 songs of all the K-Pop she’s ever listened to. She also uses it to track when she started listening to different groups.

• Madi has been a part of K-Wave since January 2024.

• She is majoring in Psychology + Informatics.

• Madi’s hobbies include sleeping, listening to music and learning their dances, drawing cute things, designing planners, playing Honkai Star Rail, and collecting keychains and stickers.

• Madi’s special talent is that she can fall asleep anywhere, no matter how loud it is.

• Madi also listens to a lot of Japanese music (ex. J-Pop, J-Rock).

• Madi got into K-Culture in 2016, when her sister was really into Girls’ Generation and kept watching the “I Got A Boy” music video on repeat. The bright colours and funky styling left her flabbergasted, the rest is history.

• Vivia’s hobbies include dancing, drawing, reading and cleaning.

• Vivia loves yakult!

• Vivia tends to play the same song on repeat for days, before moving onto another.

• Vivia’s favourite genre of music is RnB.

• Vivia first got into K-Culture in 2017 after hearing Spring Day by BTS, which was playing non-stop at a school event’s song request station.

• Vivia’s favourite groups are NewJeans and f(x).

• Her ultimate biases are NewJean’s Hanni and Minji, and f(x)’s Krystal and Amber.

• Vivia’s favourite K-Dramas are True Beauty and Strangers from Hell.

Jeongwon Facts:

• Jeongwon has been a part of K-Wave since September 2024.

• She is majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

• Jeongwon’s hobbies include drawing, animating, making comics, listening to/playing/producing music, and making stuff in general!

• Jeongwon grew up in a Korean household, so she’s been exposed to K-Culture her whole life.

• Jeongwon’s favourite artists are 2nd Gen as a whole (ie. BIG BANG, 2NE1, Wonder Girls, SNSD), and more recently - NMIXX and BOYNEXTDOOR.

• Jeongwon’s favourite variety show is Infinite Challenge.

• Jeongwon’s recent K-Drama favourites include Tomorrow, Alchemy of Souls, and Revenant, but she will watch anything during exam season.

• Jeongwon loves all Korean food, but especially loves Korean ice creams and banana milk!

• Jeongwon met Lee Jungjae when she was 3 or 4 years old when he was buying ice cream at a convenience store, although she doesn’t remember this happening anymore.

• She also grew up near the entertainment area of Seoul, so she had a lot of random sightings of celebrities.
