• Andrew has been a part of K-Wave since September 2023.

• Andrew was previously a Junior Events Executive.

• Andrew is majoring in Nursing.

• Andrew’s hobbies include going to the gym, playing video games, watching anime or K-dramas, or catching up on sleep!

• Andrew used to do competitive dragon boating but is currently taking a break!

• Andrew cannot survive a school or work day without caffeine anymore (sadly). His caffeine tolerance is ruined from working at Starbucks.

• Andrew owns a cat, but he is also allergic to cats.

• Andrew first got into K-Culture in 2018, when he heard Twice's song What is Love? playing in the back of a League of Legends video. Yes or Yes was his first comeback, and he has been a fan ever since!

Manaka Facts:

• Manaka has been a part of K-Wave since August 2023.

• Manaka was previously a Junior Events Executive.

• She is majoring in Sociology with a minor in Law and Society.

• Manaka’s hobbies include listening to a single song that she gets obsessed with once a month and going on hot girl walks with her dog.

• Manaka can play the piano, violin, viola, and the guitar. 

• She enjoys traveling, and she studied abroad in Paris and London over the summer. 

• Manaka got introduced to K-Culture in 2009 because of STEP by KARA and Mr.Taxi by Girls' Generation. She was heavily influenced by her parents who were also big fans.

• Manaka’s favourite groups are TREASURE, Girls' Generation, KARA, NewJeans, EXO.

Stephanie Facts:

• Stephanie has been a part of K-Wave since September 2024.

• It is Stephanie’s first year being a Junior Events Executive. 

• She is majoring in Biology. 

• Stephanie’s hobbies include reading books, drawing, listening to various genres of music, watching shows and series, playing games, and learning dances occasionally with friends.

• Stephanie loves eating spicy foods! Buldak noodles are a favorite and a way for her to test her spice tolerance.

• Stephanie fosters cats and kittens for animal rescues during seasonal breaks from school. Her most recent were two kittens she named Elm and Bailey.

• Stephanie got into K-Culture in 2016. She discovered K-Pop after she watched Red Velvet’s Dumb Dumb performance in an episode from Descendants of the Sun.

• Stephanie has been to 3 concerts for GOT7, TWICE, and Stray Kids for their world tours in LA. 

• Bang Chan waved at her and her friend through a car window while they were walking to the parking lot after the Maniac concert!

• She went to KCON LA 2024 during the summer and got to see several artists she adores, including Hyolyn, STAYC, ZEROBASEONE, and KATSEYE! Seeing ZB1 interact during their Bibigo collab stage convinced her to binge Boys Planet and become a Zerose.

Emily Facts:

• Emily has been a part of K-Wave since September 2024.

• It is Emily’s first year being a Junior Events Executive. 

• She is anticipating a major in Marketing.

• Emily’s hobbies include sleeping, working out (any form of exercise except running), creative story writing, journaling, eating desserts, and sitting outside.

• Emily can ask "Where's the washroom?" in 10 languages.

• She loves baking and making desserts, especially cookies and eggtarts. She has the biggest sweet tooth, and there's always room for dessert!

• Emily got into K-Culture in 2009. Her older sister pulled her into her room and got her to watch Girls' Generation’s Gee. Later on, she introduced her to U-KISS, which became Emily’s first ult group!

• Emily’s favourite groups are ATEEZ, Wanna One, EXO, BTS, GOT7, T-ARA, KARA, SISTAR, SHAUN, BTOB, and WOODZ.

• Emily’s ultimate biases are Jung Wooyoung and Choi San from ATEEZ, Kang Daniel from Wanna One, Kevin Woo from U-Kiss, and Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook from BTS!

• Emily’s favourite K-dramas are any with Song Kang in them! In particular, she loves Nevertheless and My Demon. Her other favourite is Cinderella and the Four Knights. 

• Emily really enjoys the skincare, beauty and fashion aspects of K-Culture! She has been slowly revamping her closet to be more Acubi and K-pop influenced. She likes to order from Musinsa and Lewkin.

• Emily swears by lip tints, lip glosses, and eye shadows from Rom&nd. She also can’t live without the Vitamin C and sunscreen from Beauty of Joseon! 

• Her favourite reality show back in the day was the Wanna One reality show, Wanna One Go. She has watched it at least 10 times.

• She is majoring in Psychology.

• Yashika’s hobbies include reading (thrillers and mystery with LOTS of plot twists!), dancing, doing art (currently learning digital art), and going on walks.

• Yashika is a hardcore marvel fan. She can recite some lines in her sleep.

• She really likes matcha!

• Yashika got into K-Culture in 2020. She watches a lot of K-Dramas, and her first one was True Beauty. Her first ever K-pop song was Maria by HWASA! 

• Yashika’s favourite groups are Stray Kids, BOYNEXTDOOR, SEVENTEEN, ITZY, KISS OF LIFE, TWICE, MAMAMOO, and so many more.

• Her ultimate bias is from Stray Kids. 

• Yashika’s forever favourite K-drama is True Beauty, but her other favourites are Vincenzo, Our Blues, Duty After School, and Twinkling Watermelon.

Keira Facts:

• Keira has been a part of K-Wave since September 2024. 

• It is Keira’s first year being a Junior Events Executive. 

• Keira is planning to major in Political Science or GRSJ.

• Her hobbies include playing video games, baking matcha brownies, watching anime, reading manga/manhwa, and shopping for Korean/Chinese makeup.

• Keira also likes to listen to Niki, Keshi, Starfall, Rich Brian, Mico, MILLI, Warren Hue, Laufey, and Grent Perez. 

• Her usual boba order is either a strawberry matcha or thai milk tea. 

• Keira got into K-Culture in 2020 through Stray Kids' TOP opening for Tower of God. Seungmin's vocals in the pre-chorus caught her attention, which introduced her to both Stray Kids and K-culture!

• Her favourite groups include Stray Kids and TOMORROW X TOGETHER.
